MORE THAN A CAMERA.
Photography has taken me across Australia and overseas, from local events to national championships and a USAC West Coast swing in the United States, helping brands, businesses and teams tell their stories.
I first picked up a camera in 1998, and what started as an interest quickly became a career and a passion. More than 28 years later, I'm still driven by the same thing, capturing genuine moments and telling stories that connect with people.
In 2019, I was fortunate to be named Speedway Australia Photographer of the Year, and in 2024 I was honoured to be recognised as Runner-Up.
This short feature shares a little of that journey.

Seeing what others might miss.
ABOUT ME
I’ve been the fan, the racer, designed the liveries and even driven the water truck. Eventually, I found my place behind the camera.
But what I do today goes well beyond photography. Through Skene Media, I work with businesses and brands as a creative marketing specialist, combining photography, video, design and content to tell their story and build a stronger visual presence.
Sometimes that means being trackside waiting for a split second. Other times it’s walking through a workshop, quarry or job site finding the people, details and moments that tell you what a business is really about. And sometimes it’s taking those images and building the campaign, design or content around them.
I was named Speedway Australia Photographer of the Year in 2019, but the thing that has always driven my work is pretty simple:
The camera is only part of what I do. Seeing the story is the important bit.
If you’ve got one worth telling, let’s tell it properly.
